iam8bit is no stranger to limited goods as well curators of special goods and they’re new collection pieces are easily their best yet. This time they’re working with Rez Infinite creators to launch a special collection just for the game and it includes a whole bunch of amazing stuff, and not just for collectors either. Let’s start off with the game – Rez Infinite is set to release on October 13 for PS4 and while only available digitally through the PlayStation Store, iam8bit will be creating a limited physical copy of the game which will be available to reserve tomorrow, August 19 for $39.99.
With the game aside – a collection wouldn’t be good without some threads. Two new shirts are set to release – one designed by Phil Fish and the other by Cory Schmitz and features a shiny gold foil print. More from the collection includes two collectible pins ($10) and a 2xLP 180-gram vinyl that includes two designs – one standard ($75) and the other being a limited “Player Form” picture disc version with only 1,000 copies made available ($85). Both versions of the remastered soundtrack on vinyl includes a 7″ disc featuring the new Area X and 48 page retrospective book featuring rare conversations with developers and the creator, Tetsuya Mizuguchi.
